Compatability mode, run in 640x480, administrator.nothing changes anything. I have tried lowering my desktop resolution, with no detectable difference. I've tried a couple of things to fix but nothing.literally nothing seems to be changed when I run it, almost as if it's gathering it's launch parameters elsewhere. I'd say the game is using around 35% of my overall screen. I have played this game well over 50+ hours on GoG, but for whatever reason this time I'm seeing a small screen (Game seems to play fine) in the middle after launching, with black surrounding most of my monitor (laptop).
